Services
Here is a list of the services that I host on this domain. Using them means you accept my Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They are all hosted using docker containers based mostly on Alpine Linux. I use a cronjob that runs every week that keeps the host and all docker containers up to date.
Currently I have not enabled support for IPv6 for any of these services, which is something I am working on adding.
Nginx
My personal website. It uses a Let’s Encrypt certificate that is automatically refreshed using a cronjob. See my (hopefully) excellent SSL Labs and Mozilla HTTP ratings.
Gitea
My personal git server. I host stuff I have made there, including the source code for this website.
Searxng
This is my search engine that I use for daily driving. It supports OpenSearch, so it can be added as a default search engine to Firefox and other browsers. I might add it to searx.space eventually after I add support for IPv6.
Drone
My drone server, used to execute CI/CD jobs on repositories in the Gitea server. It is used to automatically deploy this website whenever I make a commit to it, and there is also a private instance of the website that only I can access used during development. I use it to check that everything looks okay before publishing it to the public instance.
TOR
My TOR middle relay. It’s uptime is garbage because the bandwidth usage is metered, so it is usually only active a few hours per day running at full capacity and then it goes to sleep. My contact mail for matters regarding this relay is onion [[ AT ]] mechakhan.com. I am quite baffled by the amount of spam I get sent to this mail, like do spammers really think scraping torproject.org for mail addresses belonging to TOR relay operators of all people is a good way to get clicks on links in their low-effort phishing mail?
Dovecot/Postfix
My personal mail server. It is based on Luke Smith’s excellent email setup script, though I had to modify it a bit to get it to adequately run in docker, and also contribute with fixing a security issue. See my (hopefully) decent MX Toolbox results. Most likely I am blacklisted by UCEPROTECTL, but this is to be expected because they blacklist entire AS:s and then demand a ransom payment for a domain to get whitelisted. Their website, where they use a login page without SSL and dox people who rightfully send ““cart00neys”” to them, should tell you all you need to know about these clowns.
